Raco Special Vehicles www.rsv.com.au  is a family business established in 1989 as a father and son team - Carmine and Frank Raco. Carmine's love of the 57 Chevrolet began when he first saw the car. At the time, being a new migrant to Australia, Carmine did not have the means financially to acquire such a vehicle. As time progressed and Carmine had his family, he would always say how much the 57 Chevrolet was his favourite car. Naturally, Frank also became fond of the 57. In 1988, Carmine and Frank decided it was time to restore a 57 Chevrolet and so Carmine sourced one and the project began. Many hours were spent on this car to bring it back from the sad state it was in. Once completed and registered, people would often stop and ask whether or not the car was available to do weddings. Soon enough a company was formed and began operating as "Raco 57 Chev Bridal Cars". At the time there was a demand for something different and Raco Special Vehicles filled that void, by introducing the only professional option for classic American Cars of the 50’ era. The company  grew that single car into a fleet of 6 1955 – 1957 Chevrolets and now offer sedan convertible and stretch limo, to this day.

As time has progressed we have continuously varied our fleet to cater for the times and are pleased to be able to offer new vehicles such as Chrysler 300c, Hummer, Lincoln Town Car, Cadillac Escalade, BMW and Mazzerati for those who prefer modern to classic and we are proud to be one of the only companies in Melbourne to do so.
